Terms & Conditions:

We offer professional services and these terms and conditions apply to any business booked with us. We may add to or alter these terms and conditions from time to time and any alterations or additions will apply to new business but not to existing contracts. Our Cleaning Service may be ordered by telephone or e-mail and the client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions:
 

Cleaning Services: Terms & Conditions:

Contract
Contract for regular services will be drawn up including all details of service booked and send to the client prior to engagement for him to sign and to return to South West London Cleaners.

Termination of the contract
The client can terminate the agreement up to 14 days prior to commencement of the service and in the case of a continuing contract by not less than 14 days notice. If the agreement is terminated with less than 14 days notice the client will remain liable for 50% of the full prices of the cleaning services.
The client agrees that after termination of the agreement, the Client will not hire any domestic cleaner introduced to the Client by South West London Cleaners. If the Client hires such a cleaner within a year period then the Client agrees to pay South West London Cleaners a £500 referral fee.

Claims
In case of a complaint, the Company requires to be notified in writing within 24 hours after completion of the cleaning work. The company will not consider any complaints which are notified after such period of 24 hours. If the Client is dissatisfied with the work, a cleaner must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge.

Carpets
The Client must allow the carpet cleaner access to hot water and power. All fragile and breakable items must be secured or removed.

South West London Cleaners is insured by full public and employer's liability cover and we will process all claims which are properly notified to us in accordance with these terms and conditions.

South West London Cleaners will provide all cleaning material and equipment but there may a surcharge in the even of a need for specialized equipment. We will quote separately for this.

South West London Cleaners will not be responsible for failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using normal carpet cleaning methods. We undertake, however, to draw your attention to any such stains prior to commencing work. Existing damage will be reported prior to commencing work.

Tenancy cleaning
TipTop Clean Service - We are contracted to provide the services to the standard listed here.

An email will be sent with terms and conditions. We will not proceed without agreement on the terms and conditions. We also require the ability to return up to 24 hours after the clean has been performed to address any areas that have been missed and are not up to standard. There is no charge for this. If you cannot provide access to the premises for a return team to clean, no discount will be given.

Where the property is above and beyond what one cleaning team can perform in one day (unless agreed by South West London Cleaners), we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements. That may be to assign more cleaners, or in the case of heavy soiling to discuss further payment. This is an unusual event however. Fridges and Freezers must be thoroughly defrosted before cleaning can commence. They will not be covered by the terms if this is not the case. Ovens must be in a condition that will enable thorough cleaning with chemical agents.

The TipTop Clean Service is not applicable for commercial lettings through Estate Agents. If an inventory clerk is going to check your property to assess how much deposit you are entitled to receive back, you will need to book the Sparkling Tenancy cleaning service.

We will take photographs of your property prior to the clean. In the unlikely event that we do damage your property, you will be covered by our insurance for the full amount. However, spurious claims that we can dispute with photo evidence will incur a £50 charge per complaint to cover administration costs.

Areas that cannot be cleaned due to ingrained staining or wear and tear will be noted and you will be emailed a report of the clean after the service has been provided.

Sparkling Clean Service - We are contracted to provide the services to the standard listed here.

Fridges and Freezers must be thoroughly defrosted before cleaning can commence. They will not be covered by the terms if this is not the case.

Sparkling Clean – South West London Cleaners will provide a cleaning supervisor on the day of your inventory check to walk around with the inventory clerk and immediately address any issues that may arise, to ensure that you are not held liable. It is essential that you inform us when this check is to be performed, so we can provide you with the necessary resources. No discount will be provided if we miss this appointment because we are not made aware of it.

Areas that cannot be cleaned due to ingrained staining or wear and tear will be noted and you will be emailed a report of the clean after the service has been provided.

Payment terms
South West London Cleaners will send you an invoice detailing the service you booked with us shortly after the service has been carried out. You will need to pay the invoice within 14 days; we will be able to set up a standing order for regular services provided.

Non Payment
South West London Cleaners will collect any outstanding monies owed to them. If as a result South West London Cleaners has to use a debt collecting agency or county court to secure payment, the Client agrees to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legal cost, or interest which will occur due to the result of non payment of their outstanding bill.

Painting Services
Terms and Conditions

1.1 All our work is fully guaranteed by us. If you are not satisfied with the standard of work for whatever reason, we will always endeavour to remedy the situation and rectify any shortcomings as part of our commitment to provide a high standard of service and workmanship.

1.2 All necessary materials can and will be provided by us unless otherwise agreed and will always be of high quality and used in an appropriate manner as per the manufacturer's guidelines. Where it is necessary to match existing decor, our work will be carried out with this in mind, using appropriate materials that provide an exact match where possible. If an exact match will not be achievable, the client will be consulted.

1.3 Any quote or estimate is subject to revision if there are any changes to the nature or extent of the requested work. This may apply to both labour and materials. However the quote will not be amended without consultation from the client.

1.4 Time frames are guidelines and although we will endeavour to complete the work in the time frame intimated, we can not be held responsible for extra time taken to due to unforeseen circumstances. Similarly, it may be that by employing extra resources we can finish a project more quickly than estimated. In which case the price of the quote will still remain the same.

1.5 It is not normally necessary to remove radiators, but if their removal is requested, it can be done for an additional charge. This charge will also cover their subsequent replacement.

1.6 We may on occasion request that tools be left on site overnight. The client reserves the right to decline such requests.

1.7 All materials are charged at trade price + 30%

1.8 Quotes are valid for 14 days from issue.

2.0 Damage and Complaints
It is the responsibility of the client:
To remove valuable and/or fragile items from the areas to be decorated.
To remove pictures and other wall-hangings.
To remove electrical goods.

Assistance can be provided with the repositioning and/or removal of bulky furniture items and white goods, but will incur an additional charge. We reserve the right to decline to move white goods if the condition or position of the plumbing may incur a higher than normal risk of damage to the equipment or the property. We reserve the right to decline to move particularly heavy or bulky items if they present a higher than accepted health and safety risk.

2.1 We are a reasonable company and are happy to do favours for our clients over and above our quotations. However, past experience has proved that we are liable for any favours. Therefore we ask the client to sign a waiver for each job performed absolving us of any responsibility for any work undertaken that is not written into the quote. Ice. If it is not in the quote it is not covered by South West London Cleaners.

2.3 Where items cannot be covered or protected, but could easily have been removed, we will request that they are removed before work commences. We cannot be held liable for damage to such items if they are not removed.

2.4 We will take every possible precaution to ensure that all vulnerable areas and any objects left in the work area are carefully and thoroughly covered and/or masked. However, there will always remain a very small risk of overspill or dust getting past these precautions. In the rare event of overspill, dust or other cosmetic damage, we will endeavour to ensure that it is satisfactorily cleaned.

2.5 We may take photographs of your property or complete a pre-existing damage form prior to the start of the project. In the unlikely event that we do damage your property, you will be covered by our insurance for the full amount. However, spurious claims that we can dispute with photo evidence or written agreement will incur a £50 charge per complaint to cover administration costs.

2.6 In the event of breakage or damage to the property South West London Cleaners will notify the client immediately and set out steps to remedy the situation. The client must notify South West London Cleaners within 72 hours of an alleged breakage or damage caused by our employees in writing.

3.0 The agreed final quote represents a written contract for the exact work to be completed.

Any agreement made verbally before this contract is agreed is not covered by the contract unless it has been written into said contract

The agreement is made between South West London Cleaners and the client. The client is identified by his / her signature and printed name at the bottom of this document. South West London Cleaners will not enter into any dialogue, accept any requests or communicate in any way with anyone other than the client. Except where the client has provided written permission that allows them to do so.

Once agreed the client is liable for the full price of the quote

For any cancellation of work outlined on the quote above a value of £300 a written cancellation of service letter must be received and acknowledged by South West London Cleaners 48 hours before any work has commenced

In the event of a cancellation of work without South West London Cleaners acknowledgment, the client is liable for 50% of the full quotation amount regardless of whether the work is carried out.

Please check your quote carefully.

3.1 The quote written by South West London Cleaners for the client represents the requests of the client. It is not a builders survey and we will not be held liable for any task that is not included in the written quote.

3.2 The client will be expected to provide electrical power, running water and toilet facilities where reasonably possible.

4.0 Privacy Policy

We will never sell or otherwise pass on your contact details to any other company or third party, unless required to do so by law. When you contact us, your details may be retained to assist with your enquiry.
If you choose not to employ us, you can request that your details be deleted from our records. If you do employ us, your details will be retained on invoices and other correspondence. We take all reasonable precautions to safeguard electronic data and will not store any payment details electronically.

Payment
A 30% deposit is required to cover material expenses.
For projects scheduled to take more than 1 week to complete, a staged payment plan will be implemented.
We accept Cash, Telephone Payments or Standing Order (Bank Transfer).

The client agrees to pay the invoice for work upon completion of the project.
Failure to pay the outstanding invoice will incur a £75 administration charge for every 5 working days that the invoice is outstanding.
